Please join us for 126 years of the Roma Picnic Races! Attendees will enjoy a spectacular weekend of racing, wining, dining and dancing at the 2027 Picnic Races on March 19 & 20. Our event has been running since 1901 and is fondly known as the locals’ favourite Roma race meeting. Full details on our event, ticket options and packages are listed below.

Weekend Passes (includes entry to both the Black Tie / Masquerade Ball and Saturday Race Day)
$265pp or $250pp for bookings of a table of 10.
Race Day General Entry - Early Bird Special $20pp if you purchase your ticket before Friday 27 March 2026. Entry will be $35 once this special ends.

- Afternoon Tea in the air conditioned Wool Court from 3:30pm
- Live Brisbane band 'Groove Elements' will keep the dance floor packed from 5:30pm til late into the night.

Purchase when securing your general entry ticket or purchase seperately! These can be pre-purchased and collected on race day. Only limited numbers available. Red or Navy Available. Purchase online by going in to the ticket purchasing area and select the 125th Limited Edition Picnic's Cap option. Please note you can purchase a cap without having to purchase a ticket.

Courtesy Buses
Courtesy buses from all motels to Bassett Park will be available both to the ball and races.
Please keep an eye out on our social media pages for bus updates on the Picnic's weekend.
Important Information
We will be a full strength, spirit pour, race meeting.
We do not mail out wristbands.
All tickets are to be purchased online. Tickets will be emailed to you and you need to provide QR code at gate for scanning.
